A law firm in Southfield is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney with 4-7 years of complex commercial and business litigation experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be licensed and in good standing with the Michigan Bar.

Duties:

• Represent clients in complex commercial and business litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan in good standing.
• 4-7 years of complex commercial and business litigation experience.
• Strong academic background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
