Overview of Responsibilities As a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual, and trust and estate tax services. You will oversee the calculation and analysis of proprietary tax strategies for clients, develop relationships with clients, and provide them with in-depth industry knowledge. Additionally, you will ensure that your team is up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law, and provide leadership and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff. Qualifications To be considered for the Tax Manager position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a Master of Tax preferred. You should also have at least 4 years of related experience, with previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred. A CPA or Bar License is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experience. Additionally, you should be proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation, with prior experience working with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients preferred. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as strong organizational skills for managing multiple client engagements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is also required. Compensation Information Moss Adams complies with local/state regulations by disclosing the pay range in job postings. While the typical range of pay for this position is listed as $99,000-$173,000 in California, $108,000-$145,000 in Colorado, $95,000-$147,000 in Washington, and $95,000-$145,000 for Remote positions, actual pay may vary based on internal equity, knowledge, experience, skillset, and geographic location among other factors. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at the top end of the pay range. This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
