Job Overview:

The Plaintiff Trial Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, lead trial proceedings, conduct depositions, and collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and arguments.

Duties:

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conducted and defended depositions of key witnesses, including experts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Develop and present compelling arguments during trial proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
  • First-chair plaintiff personal injury trial experience.
  • Extensive deposition experience, including handling corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical experts.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law, civil procedure, and trial advocacy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload effectively.

Certifications:

  • State Bar of Texas license in good standing.
