A law firm based in Trinity, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will be involved in various legal proceedings early in their practice, including depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. The Associate Attorney will actively participate in legal proceedings such as depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials early in their practice. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Duties:

• Take depositions of witnesses and parties involved in cases.
• Attend and argue hearings before courts and administrative bodies.
• Present cases at mediations to negotiate settlements.
• Participate in trials by assisting senior attorneys and representing clients as appropriate.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Assist with case management and administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
• Strong oral advocacy and presentation skills.
• Excellent written communication and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced legal environment.
