The ideal candidate will defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims, counsel employers on labor and employment laws, and represent employers in various legal proceedings.

Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
  • Provide advice and counsel to employers on various labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • JD is from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
  • Active TX Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
  • Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.
