PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Quality Assurance & Compliance team as the Contract Administration Specialist at our RHC Office. In this role, you will be responsible for contract administration, including drafting, preparing, processing, and tracking contracts and amendments for PATH with its funders and subcontractors. You will also be responsible for administering contracts and grant data in PATH's contract management system.

About PATH
Since 1984, PATH has been pioneering effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. We operate services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.

About the Job
As the Contract Administration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that PATH is able to effectively execute and track its government and public grant portfolio. Your responsibilities will include serving as an administrator for the contract management system, reviewing incoming program contracts and grants, collaborating with leadership to create contract boilerplates, drafting and tracking contracts and amendments, and conducting research on regulations governing funds received from government entities. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate contract data and processing information in the contract management system and preparing reports on contracting metrics for submission to leadership. Additionally, as a member of the Quality Assurance & Compliance team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by modeling inclusive behaviors and proactively mitigating bias in internal and external systems and interactions.

What You Bring
We are looking for candidates who have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with others. You should also possess excellent communication skills, creativity and initiative, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and a strong ethical and professional mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a legal field
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Paralegal certificate and/or a 2-4 year degree specializing in paralegal studies

Minimum Qualifications
- Four (4) years of related job function or non-profit industry experience, with a contracting certification or other relevant training certification/education required
- Government grant experience required; federal grant experience preferred

Mandatory Requirements
Regardless of qualifications, all candidates must:
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
- Successfully complete a tuberculosis test, background screening, and drug test as a condition of hire

Driving
Driving is an essential function of this position, and all candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties. The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage is also required.
