A law firm in Florence, SC, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina and possess a Juris Doctorate or better.

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation cases before administrative agencies and courts
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and administrative agencies
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on workers' compensation matters
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and management

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina
• 1-5 years of experience in workers' compensation law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
