A law firm is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney in Las Vegas. The Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney will work with clients in the clean energy industry on various projects across the United States. The candidate should have experience in renewable energy industry transactions, including power purchase agreements, company or asset purchase and sale agreements, hedge contracts, equipment supply contracts, and construction contracts. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.

 

Duties:

  • Collaborate with clients in the clean energy industry on project development and finance matters
  • Review and draft various agreements related to renewable energy projects, such as power purchase agreements and construction contracts
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on project development and financing issues
  • Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction closings
  • Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters
  • Keep abreast of developments in renewable energy law and industry trends

 

Requirements:

  • 2-7 years of law firm experience in project development, finance, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial contracts
  • Experience working in the renewable energy industry preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state Bar

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state Bar

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of renewable energy industry transactions
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
