Overview:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a rapidly growing business unit within that provides cloud services to businesses in 190 countries. We are seeking a talented professional to join our Real Estate team as a Senior Real Estate Development Manager to support the expansion of AWS's Data Center Network in the . This role requires a strategic thinker with a technical background who can successfully guide and communicate AWS's vision for development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead real estate deal engagement, negotiation, and closing of sites for data centers.
- Manage the entitlement process and jurisdictional engagement for transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project schedules and budgets.
- Partner with local jurisdictions and participate in meetings and hearings.
- Build and lead teams of vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of AWS's real estate development strategy.
- Communicate project entitlement status to various teams and management levels.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in real estate development, law, engineering, or master planning in a technical industry.
- 5+ years of experience in land entitlement functions.
- 5+ years of experience in site due diligence, site development, and negotiation of entitlement agreements for large complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or higher in Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate or related fields.
- Understanding of and experience in the Data Center industry.
- Experience in public-private partnerships.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements related to Internet infrastructure.

Salary Information:
- Base pay ranges from $118,300/year to $220,100/year.
- Pay is based on factors like market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Total compensation package may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation.
- Full range of medical, financial, and other benefits are also provided.
