A law firm in Montgomery is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience, particularly in renewables, to counsel clients on various renewables projects, with a focus on facilities operations and power purchase agreements. The ideal candidate should have a portable book of business and robust experience in renewables to complement the Firm’s current energy practice.

Duties:

• Counsel clients on various renewables projects, including facilities operations and power purchase agreements.
• Provide legal advice and representation in litigation matters related to renewables projects.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on issues related to wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to renewables projects.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties on renewables projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in renewables.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney, with a focus on renewables projects.
• Portable book of business.
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing of the Bar.

Skills:

• Robust experience in renewables projects, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities.
• Knowledge of smart grid and energy storage, energy efficiency, and demand-side management preferred.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
