Job Overview:

The Real Estate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation in various real estate transactions, focusing on acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry, representing single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use project developers.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and support in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes related to real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate successful real estate transactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in real estate law.

Requirements:

  • Juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions, focusing on acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.
  • Preferred experience representing developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.
