Tax Manager - Investment Management - Private Equity Tax (Central Region Office Locations)

Position Summary:

- Exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager in the largest growth area of the tax industry
- Seeking a leader with experience in partnership taxation, team leadership, and advising on tax and business issues
- Opportunity to work with and serve the largest clients in the industry

What You'll Do:

- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to investment management clients
- Analyze clients' tax objectives and assist with solutions and implementation
- Lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects
- Train, mentor, and supervise Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors
- Manage client relationships and billing
- Participate in marketplace eminence building and pursuits

- Comprised of over 1,400 partners, principals, and employees providing tax services to a broad range of companies
- Clients include investment advisers and administrators from all sectors of the industry

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- Up to 25% travel required
- 5+ years of experience in tax planning or preparing and reviewing tax work papers and returns
- 3+ years of experience in investment management or partnership taxation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, or CFP certification

Preferred:

- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
- Experience in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong communication skills

Salary Information:

- Range of $84,980 to $169,650, taking into account various factors
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program
