Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of complex family law cases, including divorce, child custody and support, and related matters.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and motions.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to a team of associate attorneys and paralegals.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and develop case strategies.
  • Advocate for clients effectively both in and out of the courtroom.
  • Oversee case management and ensure compliance with deadlines and court orders.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience practicing family law.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Strong litigation skills and experience handling complex family law cases.
  • Excellent research and writing abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience managing a team of attorneys and support staff is preferred.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
