- Competitive salary range: $40, to $90, annually

Are you a results-driven attorney with experience in consumer collection litigation or a desire to become experienced in the industry? Gurstel Law Firm, . is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced and energetic team. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing practical assessments and advice, advocating for clients in and out of court, and handling all aspects of a case's litigation life cycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with opposing counsel and pro se parties to resolve disputes and negotiate resolutions
- Draft and review legal documents including briefs, correspondence, and pleadings
- Travel to various courts in the state to handle all aspects of a case's litigation life cycle
- Research and interpret laws and regulations and provide legal opinions for review
- Maintain and develop client relationships by communicating in a responsive manner
- Attend continuing education classes and seminars to stay current on legal changes

Qualifications and Skills:
- Active license to practice law in Arizona or California with no discipline history
- Experience in consumer collection litigation preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of state and federal consumer protection laws and the civil litigation process
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate and drive results in others
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
