The candidate will be serving in the identification and analysis of complex legal issues. Will be drafting and responding to discovery requests (which require gathering, organizing, and indexing large volumes of paper and electronic materials). Drafting and responding to motions. Taking depositions and assisting with the preparation of witnesses for depositions. Frequent communication with opposing counsel, experts, witnesses, and clients. Frequent analysis of technical issues. Analyzing engineering documents and various other file materials, preparing these materials for electronic products; and responding to deposition notices (which includes proper objections, scope analysis, and definition). Should have experience in civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, taking depositions, and arguing motions. Must have a Michigan or Texas Bar License (or ability to waive in).
