Overview:
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director for our Global Transaction Tax team. A&M is a leading global professional services firm that specializes in tax, turnaround management, restructuring, performance improvement, and corporate advisory services. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Director on our Global Transaction Tax team, you will:

- Demonstrate an understanding of complex tax concepts and apply tax knowledge to client situations.
- Develop and deliver high-quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services.
- Perform due diligence, including reviewing tax returns, financials, and other tax documentation.
- Review and comment on tax aspects of financial models and purchase agreements.
- Coordinate with state, local, and international tax team members, as well as financial and operational due diligence team members.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:

- CPA, JD (with a bachelor's degree in accounting, preferred), Masters in Taxation, or LLM.
- Experience in a mergers and acquisitions tax practice.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong writing, analytical, research, excel, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills.
- Strong sense of personal motivation and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $225,000 annually, dependent on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. A&M also offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance. Please speak with your recruiter for more details.
