A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with 5+ years of experience to take over an active personal injury docket and manage it effectively. The attorney will be responsible for handling personal injury cases and ensuring that clients receive the highest level of legal representation.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee an active personal injury docket.
• Conduct legal research, investigate cases, and gather evidence.
• Evaluate case merits, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Advise clients on legal options, rights, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties to reach settlements.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and pleadings.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Stay updated on changes in personal injury laws and regulations.
• Work closely with legal support staff and paralegals to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 5+ years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of successful personal injury case management.
