Job Summary:
Plante Moran, a nationally recognized public accounting, consulting, and wealth management firm, is seeking a Tax Manager in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base and make a difference by developing rapport with clients and finding solutions to tax challenges. You will also have the flexibility to choose your work location based on your individual day's needs.

Responsibilities:
- Review tax returns for partnership, corporate, and individual clients
- Identify tax solutions and opportunities for clients
- Leverage available technology to maximize technical application
- Build relationships with clients and participate in business expansion efforts
- Supervise and develop a team of associates
- Participate in non-billable initiatives for professional growth

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or Bar License required
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Chicago, IL
- Ability to travel within the region and occasionally overnight for firm-wide events
