Job Overview:

A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Trusts and Estates Attorney with experience in sophisticated trust and estate planning, estate administration, a tax background, and preferably some knowledge of elder law. The ideal candidate should be barred in PA and/or NJ, and possessing an LLM in Taxation is considered a plus.

Job Details:

• Duties:

  • Conducting thorough analysis and providing legal counsel on complex trust and estate planning matters.
  • Managing the administration of estates, including probate proceedings and trust administration.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop comprehensive estate plans tailored to their individual needs and goals.
  • Staying current on relevant laws and regulations affecting trusts, estates, and taxation.

• Requirements:

  • Barred in PA and/or NJ.
  • Previous experience in sophisticated trust and estate planning.
  • Strong background in estate administration.
  • Familiarity with tax laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of elder law is a plus.

• Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • LLM in Taxation (preferred).

• Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in PA and/or NJ.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
