Job Description:

- As a Senior Associate in the Exempt Organizations team, you will work with a wide range of tax-exempt organizations, including colleges, universities, healthcare entities, foundations, and cultural and religious organizations.
- Your responsibilities will include helping these organizations achieve measurable results through advising on tax-exempt status, identifying planning opportunities, structuring revenue generating activities, and ensuring compliance with tax requirements.
- You will be expected to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a broad range of tools and techniques, to extract insights from industry trends and provide quality work that adheres to the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
- This role will require up to 20% travel.

Requirements:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: Juris Doctorate degree.
- Preferred fields of study: Accounting, Taxation.
- Additional educational preferences: Must meet CPA or Bar licensure requirements.
- Certifications preferred: CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and address client needs by understanding Exempt Organization tax issues, tax compliance and consulting for a variety of organizations.
- Use programming skills to conduct statistical analyses and provide consulting services.
- Demonstrate technical skills in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations.
- Research business and industry trends to develop a point of view for proposals.
- Innovate through new and existing technologies to improve efficiency.
- Review contracts and negotiate pricing options.
