A law firm is seeking a Disability Associate Attorney in Fort Worth, Texas. The Disability Associate Attorney will provide legal advice to clients and prepare for and represent clients at disability hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges. Legal writing at the ALJ and Appeals Council levels is required. The role involves communicating with clients via telephone, mail, and email at all levels of the disability process. The ideal candidate should possess a strong attorney license and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice to clients regarding Social Security Disability matters.
  • Prepare clients for disability hearings.
  • Represent clients at disability hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents for disability cases at the ALJ and Appeals Council levels.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via telephone, mail, and email throughout the disability process.

 

Requirements:

  • Attorney license in good standing.
  • 1-3 years of experience practicing Social Security Disability law preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Attorney license in the state of Texas.
