A law firm in New York City is seeking a Health Care Transactional and Corporate Associate Attorney with 3+ years of relevant experience, including corporate and M&A transactional work with exposure to clients in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will represent sophisticated corporate clients operating in the healthcare sector in a variety of general corporate and transactional matters. Strong relationship management, communication, and negotiating skills are essential. While not a requirement, a portable and growing book of business will be favorably regarded.

 

Duties:

  • Represent corporate clients operating in the health care industry.
  • Handle a wide range of general corporate and transactional matters.
  • Support and enhance the firm's health care practice across its platform.
  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on health care regulatory issues.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including corporate and M&A transactional work.
  • Exposure to clients in the health care industry is preferred.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Portable and growing book of business is favorably regarded.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.

 

Skills:

  • Experience with corporate and M&A transactional work.
