The Manager, Business Tax Services at KPMG is a crucial role responsible for providing high quality tax services to clients and playing a key role in growing the firm's Private Enterprise Group. This group focuses on early, middle, and late-stage growth companies backed with private equity and venture capital, as well as owner-operated middle market businesses. As a Manager in Business Tax Services, you will have the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, helping them understand, analyze, and respond to complex business opportunities and challenges. This role requires a minimum of five years of corporate and/or partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is also required. Additionally, a licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM is preferred, along with other approved credentials listed by KPMG. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of business development and the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new ones with key targets. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for this role, as well as the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information.

- Advise clients and deliver high quality tax services
- Review and analyze corporate and/or partnership returns for fast growth start-ups, venture capital, private-equity businesses, and/or owner-managed companies
- Serve as a trusted advisor on tax-related developments for privately held corporations and partnerships
- Build, manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements teams
- Contribute to the growth and process improvement of the Private Enterprise tax practice
- Mentor, coach, and manage a team of talented tax professionals
