A law firm in Randolph, NJ, is seeking an Associate Attorney with a strong foundation in litigation work, contract drafting, and legal research. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling litigation matters, from filing complaints through appearances at trial, supporting clients by drafting agreements, contracts, and memoranda, conducting legal research, and attending community association board meetings. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to time-sensitive assignments, and collaborate with other attorneys and paraprofessionals to assist clients with their day-to-day legal needs. Active admission to the New Jersey and New York Bars is mandatory.

Duties:

• Manage litigation cases, including filing complaints, discovery, motion practice, and trial appearances.
• Draft and review legal agreements, contracts, and memoranda for clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases and provide legal advice.
• Attend community association board meetings and assist clients with legal matters related to community associations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and paraprofessionals to address clients' day-to-day legal issues.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and complete time-sensitive assignments.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation for clients.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and communication.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings and negotiations.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Active Bar admission in New Jersey and New York.
• Strong foundation in litigation work, from filing complaints through trial appearances.
• Proficiency in drafting legal agreements, contracts, and memoranda.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time-sensitive assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications:

• Active Bar admission in New Jersey and New York is mandatory for this role.
