Position Summary
- Seeking a leader and strategic thinker with extensive knowledge across multiple areas of taxation
- Responsible for delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, and closely-held business concerns
- Must be able to provide solutions to complex tax issues and have a strong understanding of AGI & DNI
- Opportunity to join Deloitte's growing Private Wealth practice

What You'll Do
- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers related to individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift tax returns
- Lead client meetings on compliance and consulting projects, providing tax planning opportunities and advice on the tax implications of transactions
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors
- Take on lead client-contact roles, billing and profitability analysis, and participate in marketplace eminence building and pursuits

The Team
- Deloitte Tax LLP's Private Wealth team focuses on the specialized needs of the ultra-affluent, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners
- Provides comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice to clients
- Helps clients make informed decisions regarding personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving

Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model (in-person 2-3 days per week)
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and client needs
- 5+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms or industry
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM
- Prior Big 4 experience
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents
- Project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent research and writing skills

Salary Information
- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure/certifications, and other business/organizational needs
- Disclosure range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differential
- Typically, individuals are not hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances
- Reasonable estimate of current range: $84,980 to $169,650
