The Insurance Defense Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in insurance defense matters, handling civil cases through trial, negotiating settlements, and providing legal counsel to clients. Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense matters, with a focus on bodily injury defense, construction, and related areas.
• Handle civil cases through trial, including taking depositions, attending oral arguments and hearings, and providing courtroom representation.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Provide timely and thorough legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Prepared and presented reports to clients on case status and developments.
• Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance defense preferred.
• Must be currently licensed to practice law in Texas; additional licensure in other States is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle civil cases through trial, including strong courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a legal team.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of clients.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas; additional licensure in other States is a plus.
