- Responsible for maintaining client relationships, delivering quality work, and managing project teams
- Develop and deliver global data protection and privacy strategies for clients
- Collaborate with BDO team members and offshore professionals
- Comply with BDO's Quality Risk Management, Data Protection, and other Frameworks
- Manage multiple large, complex and potentially long-term engagements and clients

Job Duties:
- Develop and deliver global data protection and privacy strategies for client C-suite/board
- Build cross-cultural functionality for clients to operationalize global privacy programs
- Develop and deliver privacy operations program plans for global corporate clients
- Manage BDO USA team members and collaborate with BDO Member Firms and offshore team members
- Provide detailed level information to clients around various domestic and global privacy laws
- Guide and advise team members around project budget and scheduling
- Establish new relationships to drive new opportunities for BDO
- Comply with BDO's Quality Risk Management, Data Protection, and other Frameworks
- Manage and maintain relationships with client professionals and introduce other BDO professionals to expand on existing relationships
- Manage day-to-day project requirements and on-site/remote team
- Ensure timely and thoughtful responses to client inquiries and requests
- Build relationships with other BDO professionals and participate in industry events
- Ensure quality services are provided to corporate clients
- Update customer relationship management for appropriate pipeline reporting
- Review client executive reports and provide feedback to team members
- Develop proposals, respond to RFP/RFI's, and manage service agreements according to BDO standards
- Utilize knowledge of client needs to develop project and resource plans, establish reporting and metrics, and provide regular updates
- Participate in business unit, legal, IT, privacy, and governance interviews and meetings
- Proofread and edit executive reports prior to presenting to prospects and clients
- Manage BDO client and partner expectations at all levels
- Mentor team members to ensure consistent quality work and adherence to BDO standards
- Manage a team of professionals on a project or regional basis
- Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Ensure team members are trained on relevant software, tools, and processes
- Evaluate performance and assist in professional development of team members
- Provide periodic feedback and complete performance evaluations
- Act as a mentor to team members, as appropriate

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's, Juris Doctorate, or MBA preferred

Experience:
- 10+ years of consulting experience required
- 3+ years of data protection or privacy experience required
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing large, complex privacy projects required

License(s)/Certification(s):
- One or more privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE) required
- OneTrust, TrustArc, or other privacy enabled technology solutions preferred

Software:
- OneTrust, BigID, and other privacy and GRC software
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint preferred
