Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in private equity finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing agreements, loan documents, and other related contracts.
• Conducted due diligence and assisted with transactional closings.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex financing matters.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments and legal trends relevant to private equity finance.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in private credit, acquisition, or leveraged finance.
• Demonstrated experience in borrower-side representation.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience working with private equity sponsors.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
