Duties:

• Represent clients in criminal proceedings, including arraignments, bail hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on criminal laws and precedents.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
• Negotiate plea bargains with prosecutors.
• Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal litigation.
• Build strong cases by gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in criminal matters.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Proven experience as a criminal defense attorney in a relevant role.
• Strong knowledge of Texas Criminal Law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle a high caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to Practice Law in Texas.
