## Insurance Tax Manager

PwC is seeking an experienced **Insurance Tax Manager** to join its Financial Services Tax practice. This position offers the opportunity to help clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. The Insurance Tax Manager will provide advice on local and overseas tax affairs, act as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, and manage working capital and profit sharing for partners.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA or Member of the Bar. A Master's degree is preferred. The individual must also have a thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting the domestic and/or international insurance industries, public accounting practices, and internal domestic and foreign insurance departments. Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance are also required.

In addition, the Insurance Tax Manager must have the ability to develop new skills, resolve issues, coach others, analyze complex ideas or proposals, use multiple sources of information to develop solutions, address sub-standard work, use data and insights to inform conclusions, develop a point of view on key global trends, manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus, simplify complex messages, and uphold the firm's code of ethics.

At PwC, the Insurance Tax Manager will be working as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This individual must be able to demonstrate success as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships, making introductions to sell new services, and working with a "One Firm" service mindset. Preferred familiarity with a CRM system is also desirable.

The successful candidate must also have the ability to innovate through new and existing technologies, work with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients, and utilize digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements. Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools, to provide a point of view on pricing strategies is also beneficial.

The position is located in the United States and requires up to 20% of travel. The salary range is available on the PwC website. ## Qualifications
