A law firm is seeking a Corporate Attorney in Allentown, PA.

Job Overview:

The Corporate Attorney will provide legal advice and representation to clients on corporate matters. They will assist in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in corporate transactions and litigation.

Duties:

  • Draft emails and letters on behalf of clients
  • Transcribe and type correspondence and other legal documents
  • Proofread materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal standards
  • Manage attorneys’ calendars and schedule appointments
  • Prepare expense reports and manage billing activities
  • Respond to clients’ calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both within and outside the firm

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience working in a mid-to-large size law firm
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible individual
  • Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and legal document management systems
  • Accurate typing at a minimum of 60 words per minute (WPM)
  • Ability to proactively follow through and follow up on tasks

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar Association

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
