Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications for software, including operating systems, middleware software, directory servers, network management, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Conduct patentability and freedom to operate searches and provide opinions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business and technology needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Stay updated on changes in patent laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
- 3rd year Patent Associate or Patent Agent with experience in drafting, preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications for software.
- Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with work experience as a software developer.
- Admitted to the USPTO.
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Patent Attorney - IP/Patent: Lowenstein Sandler is looking for a highly qualified Patent Attorney with experience in drafting and prosecuting software patent applications. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 3rd year experience as a Patent Associate or Agent. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Intellectual Property team in one of our three locations: Roseland, NJ / Centerville, UT / Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities:
