A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate should be a member in good standing of the Kentucky State Bar, with 3-8 years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practice. A license to practice in Ohio is a plus. The Associate Attorney will actively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters, possess bench trial and motions practice experience, and demonstrate a strong foundation in civil procedure, motions, and loss mitigation. They should have a working knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA & FDCPA. The candidate must be committed to superior client care and proactive communication, be a self-starter, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Duties:

  • Utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to manage assigned matters
  • Engage in bench trial and motions practice, with a focus on civil procedure, motions, and loss mitigation
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA & FDCPA
  • Exhibit a commitment to superior client care and proactive communication

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing of the Kentucky State Bar
  • 3-8 years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights practice
  • A license to practice in Ohio is a plus
  • Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions, and loss mitigation
