Overview



The Investigator Intern (Undergrad) - Spring Internship is an unpaid opportunity for college students in their junior or senior year, graduate students, and law students who have completed their first year of law school. This position offers interns the chance to work in a legal setting and gain experience in the field.

Responsibilities




  • Interview witnesses

  • Write reports

  • Take photographs

  • Diagram crime scenes

  • Deliver subpoenas to witnesses

  • Gather records and other documents essential to the defense

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials

  • Help clients obtain treatment for substance abuse or mental health issues



Requirements



  • Must be a college student in their junior or senior year, graduate student, or law student who has completed their first year of law school

  • Must be a licensed driver with an insured vehicle

  • Must obtain a private investigator’s license through the New Hampshire Department of Safety



Compensation



This position is unpaid, however job-related mileage expenses are reimbursed. The organization will also assist interns in obtaining a private investigator’s license and reimburse the associated fee.
