Job Overview:

The Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney will handle their own caseload, including intakes, pleadings, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances. Trial experience is preferred. Child Victim's Act and Adult Survivor's experience, as well as medical malpractice experience, are advantageous.

 

Duties:

  • Handle own caseload, including intakes, pleadings, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
  • Conduct legal research
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints and motions
  • Represent clients in court proceedings
  • Negotiate settlements
  • Provide legal advice to clients
  • Manage client relationships

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • 5+ years of personal injury experience
  • Trial experience preferred
  • Child Victim's Act and Adult Survivor's experience a plus
  • Medical malpractice experience a plus

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar
