A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking a fluent Spanish-speaking Associate Attorney to handle removal and family-based immigration cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excel in client relationship building, and provide exceptional customer experiences.

 

Job Duties:

  • Practice removal and family-based immigration law.
  • Attend hearings and interviews before EOIR, USCIS, and Federal Court.
  • Oversee preparation of court filings, consular-processing, and adjustment of status applications.
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, and conduct legal research.
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Prepare clients for hearings and interviews.
  • Manage and oversee cases from start to finish.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school and admission to a . State Bar.
  • 2+ years of immigration-related legal experience.
  • High proficiency in the Spanish language.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
