Job Description:

As an Executive Director of Business Support Services at KPMG, you will have the opportunity to provide counsel on civil litigation, regulatory investigations, and government inquiries. You will also be responsible for representing KPMG and its professionals in legal proceedings, developing strategies to defend litigation claims, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, you will report to and consult with the Vice Chair for Legal, Regulatory & Compliance/General Counsel and the Deputy General Counsel for Litigation on issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:

- Provide counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in legal proceedings
- Develop, implement, and manage strategies to defend litigation claims and regulatory investigations
- Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel and other members of OGC
- Report to and consult with Vice Chair for Legal, Regulatory & Compliance/General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel for Litigation
- Assist in developing financial projections for supervised matters

Qualifications:

- Minimum 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the .
- Experience with complex civil litigations and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms or financial institutions preferred
- Experience with SEC or PCAOB Division of Enforcement a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with high-quality results
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong business partnerships
