The ideal candidate will simultaneously manage high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters, ensuring quality legal work and maintaining ethical standards. The role involves business management, client service excellence, and a focus on health care expertise within the Corporate Services Group.

 

Duties:

  • Handle multiple legal matters at various stages, from inception to conclusion.
  • Produce high-quality legal work and meet required billing hours to ensure excellent client services.
  • Manage and generate business through both group and individual efforts.
  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.
  • Utilize health care expertise within the Corporate Services Group (CSG).
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills for effective communication with attorneys and clients.
  • Work independently and productively, displaying a strong interest in advancing a career in CSG.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in good standing in one or more jurisdictions where the firm conducts business.
  • Must maintain applicable license renewal and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in ACA, Healthcare Benefits, Qualified Plan compliance with IRS and Department of Labor.
  • Experience with Multi-employer plans and benefits in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Substantial experience in drafting, reviewing motions, and court filings.
  • Preferably 5-8 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm.
