Job Title: State and Local Tax (SALT) Director

Salary Range: $150,000 - $260,000 (actual compensation dependent on individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws)

Job Description:

- Seeking a State and Local Tax (SALT) Director for Citrin Cooperman's National Tax Practice
- Responsible for performing tax research and analysis on a variety of SALT matters and subjects
- Works with clients and internal Citrin Cooperman personnel
- Focus on income and indirect tax nexus, apportionment and revenue sourcing, sales tax analysis, credits and incentives, SALT planning and implementation, and M&A due diligence
- Opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing National SALT practice with unlimited professional growth potential
- Must have strong research and communication skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of multi-state tax concepts

Qualifications:

- BS in Accounting, LLM or master's in taxation
- CPA and/or JD preferred
- 10+ years of tax experience, with at least 4 years specifically in SALT
- Strong team player with the ability to build relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks
- Eager to learn and apply new concepts in real-time
