A law firm located in Troy, MI, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of mandatory Insurance Defense experience. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and will manage a litigation caseload representing clients in various insurance defense claims. They will also represent clients in depositions, court hearings, trials, and negotiate settlements as required.

Duties:

• Manage a litigation caseload involving insurance defense claims.
• Represent clients in depositions, court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents related to insurance defense cases.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance defense matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and development.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal precedents.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of mandatory Insurance Defense experience.
• Litigation experience is required.
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Education and Certifications:
