Job Overview:

The Litigation Of Counsel will be pivotal in the firm's litigation, providing expert counsel and strategic guidance. They will handle a variety of responsibilities, including client communication, supervising associates, drafting legal documents, and contributing to case strategy.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Supervise associates and guide on legal matters.
  • Work with experts to develop case strategies.
  • Assist with fact development and depositions.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • . degree with bar admission.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • A background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is preferred.
  • Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Education and Certifications:

  • . degree from a nationally recognized law school.
  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
