Duties:

  • Represent clients in project finance and structured asset-based finance transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements, including secured lending, tax equity, LLC financings, and joint ventures.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on clean energy and climate infrastructure finance projects.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers to support client needs and transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters.
  • Assist with due diligence and transaction management.

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 3-6 years of transactional experience in project finance or related fields.
  • Experience with secured lending, tax equity, LLC financings, and joint ventures.
  • Strong interest in developing expertise in clean energy finance.
  • Excellent academic credentials and drafting skills.
  • Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
