Job Overview: The Senior Business Law Attorney will provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients in various areas of estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, and corporate law matters. They will be pivotal in client relationship management, project management, negotiation, and mentoring younger associates.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, and business succession planning.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to estate planning, trust administration, and corporate law matters.
  • Conducted senior-level reviews of legal documents and client matters.
  • Mentor and supervise junior associates.
  • Collaborate with seasoned partners in client counseling and development.
  • Invest significant time in client development activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience practicing law, focusing on estate planning, trust administration, wealth preservation, and corporate law matters.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Proven project management abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience advising individuals, families, executives, and business owners.
  • Ability to understand and solve complex business issues.
  • Previous experience in a large law firm is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier, ABA-approved law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar is in good standing.
