The ideal candidate will possess outstanding credentials and qualifications and have 2-6 years of experience in structuring, documenting, and negotiating secured and unsecured financing transactions for borrowers and lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure, document, and negotiate secured and unsecured financing transactions for borrowers and lenders.
  • Handle senior secured, mezzanine, and subordinated debt transactions.
  • Manage acquisition financings and loan workouts.
  • Oversee restructurings and debt-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful deal execution.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance on complex debt finance matters.

Requirements:

  • Experience in acquisition financings, loan workouts, and restructurings.
  • Leveraged finance experience, particularly related to mergers and acquisitions, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
