The Amazon Delivery Privacy Team is responsible for managing privacy for the Amazon Delivery, Last Mile Organization. The team's focus is to ensure that individuals are never surprised by the data collected, processed, and shared, and to delight regulators with the quality, transparency, and accuracy of privacy documentation. This role is for a security/privacy subject-matter expert who will work with legal and technology teams to support the team's strategic vision.

Key responsibilities for this role include managing multiple privacy projects with a sense of urgency, using data to drive results in ambiguous situations, conducting operational deep dives on privacy-related processes and systems, reviewing applications for privacy compliance, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure privacy is considered in projects and decisions. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of privacy regulatory developments and standards, and be able to identify, gather, track, and report privacy metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of experience in privacy or compliance, as well as experience leading projects with automated and manual systems. They should also have experience working with cross-functional teams, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Preference will be given to candidates with CIPP certifications and advanced degrees (Juris Doctor).

This is a full-time position that may be based out of either Bellevue, WA or Nashville, TN. The compensation for this position ranges from $81,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $196,300/year in our highest geographic market, and may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation.
