- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Preferred Qualifications: Master Degree in Taxation or Political Science

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of state and local tax laws, including multi-state income tax planning, compliance, and controversies
- Technical skills in FAS 109, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies, tax research, and consulting for multi-state jurisdictions
- Experience identifying and addressing client needs, building and maintaining relationships, communicating value propositions, and managing resources and projects
- Success as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset
- Familiarity with a CRM system
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment, including working with large data sets and utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements
- Understanding of alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies
