Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience representing banks, commercial finance companies, private debt funds, and other lenders in various financing transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structuring, documenting, and closing asset-based, real estate, healthcare, and general middle-market financing transactions. Additionally, experience with UCC Article 9 perfection provisions, mortgage/title insurance issues, and loan workouts/restructurings is highly desirable.

Duties:

• Represent banks, commercial finance companies, private debt funds, and other lenders in financing transactions.
• Assist in structuring, documenting, and closing asset-based, real estate, healthcare, and general middle market financing transactions.
• Provide legal counsel on UCC Article 9 perfection provisions and mortgage/title insurance issues.
• Participate in loan workouts and restructurings, if necessary.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance law.
• Admitted to practice as an attorney.
• Proven track record in representing lenders in various financing transactions.
• Strong understanding of UCC Article 9 perfection provisions and mortgage/title insurance issues.
• Experience with loan workouts and restructurings is preferred but not mandatory.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
