Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Trucking and Transportation Defense Department in Phoenix, AZ

JSH, a reputable law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is currently seeking an associate attorney with at least 2 years of experience in trucking and transportation defense. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil litigation and a passion for providing exceptional client service. Job Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of trucking and transportation defense cases from start to finish
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Prepare for and attend court appearances, including arguing motions and trying cases to a jury
• Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions and drafting discovery requests and responses
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing any concerns or questions
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to provide exceptional client service and achieve successful outcomes

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
•
• At least 2 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in trucking and transportation defense
• Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
