Duties:

  • Represent clients in coverage disputes related to comprehensive general liability, directors and officers (D&O), errors and omissions (E&O), employment practices liability (EPL), professional liability, commercial property and casualty, and other insurance types.
  • Provide expertise in insurance policy analysis.
  • Navigate and interpret complex insurance policies, laws, and principles.
  • Handle litigation cases from inception through trial in state and federal courts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis relevant to insurance coverage matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance coverage and policy analysis.
  • Admitted to practice in Illinois; Indiana admission is a plus.
  • Litigation experience from case inception through trial.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar; Indiana admission is considered a plus.
