Job Title: Sr. Trial Attorney

Experience: 8+ years of relevant civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients under both commercial and personal lines insurance policies independently as lead counsel
- Handle caseloads including a mix of cases varying in complexity, severity, product lines, and specialized concentrations
- Maintain a highly productive case volume through innovative thinking, effective collaboration, and embracing technology
- Demonstrate strong trial advocacy skills and efficiency in case management
- Stay updated on changes to the law, technology, and other aspects of the legal and insurance industries
- Provide factually, legally, and analytically sound opinions on case valuations
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key associates and colleagues within the legal and insurance industries
- Communicate effectively with clients, claims partners, and internal teams
- Serve as a mentor for junior attorneys and staff, providing guidance and training
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license in the state of Georgia
- 8+ years of relevant civil litigation experience in property and casualty insurance defense or subrogation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly collaborative and able to work with staff and other attorneys
- Significant negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and legal skills
- Resourceful and creative problem solver
- Computer savvy with a solid understanding of basic software
- Ability to adapt to changes in the law and technology
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills
- Familiarity with ethical rules and policies in the legal industry
- Must pass a credit and background check
